We invite STEM students from around the area to join us for a Day of Manufacturing. This day is meant to inspire the future leading minds in manufacturing and it gives local manufacturers the opportunity to give a behind the scenes look at their continuous improvement initiatives, use of technology and workforce best practices.

  • By 2024 the number of STEM occupations in the U.S. will grow by 8.9%
  • ‒ 2nd largest STEM occupation growth is in engineering
  • Policymakers at all levels of government are emphasizing the importance of educating students for STEM-related jobs
  • U.S. corporations are now investing $350 billion annually in education (mostly STEM).
  • In the U.S., 80,000 manufacturing workers ages 55 and up, are poised to soon leave the labor market entirely.
